We are pleased to offer for sale this ULEZ compliant P38 V8 Range Rover that has been known to us for several years. This was a personal car of ours until two years ago, and it has since been living in Notting Hill. 

 

Beautifully appointed in Epsom Green over cream leather and contrasting piping and walnut wood, this car presents very well.

 

This is a well sorted P38, with ice cold A/C, fully working and air suspension and a very smooth engine and gearbox. Anyone who has owned Classic Range Rovers, P38’s or L322’s as we have and do, will know the importance of buying the best examples which in the long run, will save both a lot of money and time.

 

The chassis and undercarriage is excellent, and there is not a single mention on any prior MOT inspection of corrosion of the chassis, body, sills or body mounting points.

 

In our previous ownership, it benefitted from, and only required, standard servicing of oils and filters following a thorough recommissioning carried out by a Land Rover & Range Rover specialist parts refurbisher and collector who was the previous owner before ourselves.

 

Used regularly, it took our family on weekend jaunts, sometimes was used as a daily car for business journeys, and was also a car of choice to take a 200 mile round journey to Goodwood and back to Somerset.

 

The fact that this is a ULEZ compliant example will, we feel, present any London based owner with a real opportunity to enjoy an older, refined and elegant Range Rover.

 

Equally for someone who visits London regularly, it is future proofed and should stand in good stead financially compared with other non compliant P38 examples which are few and far between.

 

Unfortunately, no P38 with the 4.6 V8 engine (neither GEMS, nor Thor) are compliant, and the 2.5 DSE is of course definitely not! Only some later model Thor engined 4.0 V8’s are compliant, but only if an application is made with the appropriate proof to Transport for London (TfL). 

 

This bureaucratic hurdle has been overcome, and the car is sold accompanied by both its certificate of conformity from JLR and the ULEZ compliance approval certificate from TfL.

 

This example is also accompanied by its service book, many prior MOTs, and invoices.
