Offered for sale is an extremely elegant 2012 Westminster Edition L322 in Ipanema Sand over Arabica with clear glass. This example boasts an incredibly comprehensive service history with a fully stamped service book and a folder full of documented maintenance, including demonstrable preventative works and a sensible 111k miles.

Whilst 7 colours were offered on the 2012 Westminster runout models, with Ipanema Sand being one of them, we have never seen one ‘in the wild’ before. Coupled with Arabica upholstery, carpets, dash, lower door cards and seatbelts, the aesthetic is wonderful and it is a very special example to behold.

Production of the L322 finished in July 2012, with the factory being shut down and refitted in August to make way for the L405, making this example, registered 31st of March 2012 being very much towards the end of the L322’s 10 year run of class leading luxury and capability.

Extremely well cared for throughout its life, and with an impressive folder of invoices to accompany the stamped service portfolio, it also boasts an extremely impressive MOT history, and has had only one MOT fail in its entire existence for a solitary windscreen wiper.

Every single L322 we sell has the following work and checks completed:

- Sill cover removal to inspect the inner and outer sills.
- Inspect, sand and waxoil all sills, front and rear subframes and undercarriage
- Engine oil and filter change using low ash ACEA C1 oil, essential to preserve the DPF on TDV8 models.
- Soot level check of the DPF alongside full vehicle diagnostics
- EGR valve inspection and replacement as required on TDV8 models
- Gearbox service unless completed in the last 30, 000 miles.
- Oil cooler replacement unless conducted within the last 50, 000 miles
- Transfer box service
- Differential service x 2 on each vehicle
- New rear calipers
- New front and rear brake pads
- Full paint correction and machine polish
- Acid dipped wheel refurbishment, new wheel nuts and new wheel centre caps
- A brand new set of AT3 General Grabber 255/ 55/ R20 on later models and equivalent Pirelli Scorpions on earlier models.
- 500 miles minimum covered personally by me in every example but regularly more

As with all L322 we sell, VK12 OAW has an excellent MOT history and crucially where it really matters on the L322; no advisories, defects or mentions whatsoever of rust to sills, jacking point, arches, body, or front or rear subframe which sadly on this model is becoming an ever more common issue and cumulatively can be very expensive to rectify.

We simply will not entertain the purchase or sale of examples with MOT advisories in the past showing corrosion to any sills, subframes, arches or jacking points.

Mechanically, power and torque from the twin turbocharged 4. 4 TDV8 is immense. The gearbox is smooth and the air suspension works quickly and as desired in arrival mode, normal ride height and off road height.

Anyone test driving a similar example must push the car hard above at least 2750 rpm in order to engage the second, sequential turbo.

Under heavy load, doing so ensures that both turbos and turbo actuators are performing well. Similarly, that there are no cracks, either big or small with the inlet manifold or intercooler pipes. Either of these issues will result in ‘restricted performance’ due to sensors recognising the loss of vacuum and too much air in the system.

This is a well specified, very late L322 Westminster Edition example in a desirable and extremely rare colour combination with full service history, and has been thoroughly tested and inspected by ourselves and drives superbly.
