*As of listing, this is the only Green (Galway or Aintree) 2010-2012 4.4 TDV8 listed for sale in the country, either clear glass or privacy glass *

We are delighted to offer for sale an extremely collectable, low mileage, clear glass Vogue SE L322 in Galway Green over Sand in exceptional condition.

With comprehensive service history and extremely well looked after, it drives beautifully.

This really is a beautiful specification example and is a carbon copy of a Royal car used on the Sandringham Estate with registration OV60 VAJ which was recently reviewed by Izzy Hammond on Drivetribe. The colour, Galway Green, the interior, Sand and Cherry Wood, the model specification, Vogue SE and the powertrain are all identical.

OV60 VAJ was first registered on the 18th of November 2010 and our example, AK60 KZD just 12 days later on the 30th.

Short of owning an ex Royal car in this classic colour combination and paying for the privilege, this is the closest one may get to enjoying the same specification Range Rover L322.

As a Vogue SE, the SE benefits from upgraded leather and seat style and cooled and heated front seats. Rear seats are of course heated as in a Vogue. Another feature of SE specification is radar cruise control as standard, allowing the car to speed up and slow down automatically, as traffic allows.

Being familiar with L322’s of all engine variants and model years and having 6 in our collection, from the very earliest 2002 petrol V8s right the way through to the final models, the key things to look out for on the 4.4 TDV8 specifically are as follows:

Anyone test driving a similar example must push the car hard above at least 2500 rpm in order to engage the second, sequential turbo. Under heavy load, doing so ensures that both turbos are performing well and also that there are no cracks, either big or small with the inlet manifold or intercooler pipes.

Any issues with either of these will result in ‘restricted performance’. Both ‘boost pipes’ or intercooler pipes were in fact replaced in December 2022 alongside EGR pipe check and clean at a cost of £781.75.

Having enjoyed this example over the last few months, the performance is excellent, both from the engine and 8 speed ZF transmission.

This is a considerable step up in power, torque, refinement, economy and reliability (particularly the turbos) over the 3.6 TDV8 and 6 Speed ZF transmission.

The service history of this low owner example is excellent and thorough and shows preventative knowledge of this model by both the owner and mechanics undertaking the works.

In particular, on top of the boost pipes and EGR work, in the last two years, this L322 has benefited from a gearbox service in June 2023 and had brake pads and discs replaced in November 2023 and November 2024. A new alternator, at a cost of £700 was fitted in July 2022. A new battery was installed in November 2024. The transfer box, to switch between high and low ratios was serviced in March 2024 alongside replacement of auxiliary drive belts. Of course, regular engine servicing has also been routine.

As with all of our L322 examples, we have inspected the sills, by removing the plastic sill covers which run below the doors on both sides. These were in very good order and have been gently sanded and waxyold for future protection although actual repairs or welding were not necessary.

Both rear arches are immaculate as can be seen in the photographs provided. Any interested party will be pleased to read the MOT history of the vehicle online, which shows not a single mention of structural rust to any area of the vehicle. In contrast to many, which can show one or many of the following; inner or outer sills, mounting points, suspension components or front and rear subframes. Cumulatively, this can be very expensive to put right.

We always keep and use them for several months if not years, and in our ownership and use, on top of the aforementioned works, it has also received a new front left shock absorber and a new differential seal.

The vehicle currently holds an advisory free MOT but will be supplied with a new MOT pre-sale. Any issues raised will be subsequently addressed as required.

With just 87k miles in wonderful condition and a most pleasing specification, this is a beautiful example for any Range Rover collector, enthusiast, or indeed to be enjoyed as a daily driver.

Viewings and inspections by appointment are most welcome at Harry Alexander Classics UK, Vantage Park, Sparkford, Somerset, BA22 7FQ.
